We had site 15 for 4 nights this past week, in lieu of Hurricane Lee it was a great experience. (especially the most fantastic sunset I have ever seen) The Kampground is clean and well kept. We liked that the seasonal sites were clear of excess structures that some times you see at other facilities. Great store if you forgot anything. Everyone was nice and picked up after there animals great experience booked for next June as well.

What a wonderful place to make memories at! The sites are well maintained and beautiful! The atmosphere is family oriented and there are tons of amenities! We stayed for the first time with our toddler and had an amazing time! The owners have done a great job at making this a place that you don't want to leave! We will definitely be back!

The sites are well kept, maintained and level! The owners seem super nice and accommodating. It's quiet and just has a great relaxing atmosphere. After having several bad experiences elsewhere, this was a very welcoming change! I would highly recommend.

Such a fantastic place! Having a blast with the grandkids and wife! Staff has been super helpful and polite! Sites are clean with plenty of options available. Highly recommend for either a quick visit or an extended stay! Everything and then some is available here, and additional options for shopping, eating, and adventuring are local.

Awesome waterfront sites. Great fishing. With kayak and come rental, you can explore the lake. The pool is well maintained. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This place is a gem.

Great friendly place. Clean bath rooms. They also have a playground and sand area to play in. My Granddaughters love that!

I highly recommend giving Augusta West a visit for your next family vacation. Between the lake fun, the fishing, the people, the owners, the activities, the relaxed atmosphere...you really can't go wrong with Augusta West! Also, waking up to the calling Loons, the fog on the lake, and the smell of smoldering campfires, is really pretty awesome!

Wonderful family campground

Friendly staff, clean campground. Fellow campers were very pleasant. Our camp site was very spacious. Had a great time.

The office staff was efficient and friendly. Our site was ready for us when we arrived. Our site was amazing the views were just what we needed! This is a very clean and friendly family campground. They have a awesome pool that works for the whole family, from babies to adults.

Lots of new happenings here, pool, new deck, band to play, pig roast, clearing to put in more lots, and as always friendly owners and staff who welcome us back each year .

Fantastic family campground!! My entire family has camped here for several years now and we love it. Fun for all ages. My kids love it here. The owners Kale, Brittney and son Payson are wonderful and very friendly people. In one year of taking over his fathers family business Kale and Brittney have made huge financial investments in this campground to make it a great place for all ages to enjoy long into the future. If you stay here you will see a beautiful new pool nearing completion and ready to enjoy by the first week off July 2018. A newly renovated store interior. All water sites have new aluminum docks to enjoy. And as you drive into the campground you will see construction equipment along side the road as a brand new septic system has been installed and nearing completion. Great improvements and we look forward to all the new plans you have in store for this campground. Keep up the good work.

Great little hidden gem

We only spent one night here, but our camp spot is very nice, backup right to the lake. The first spot they tried to put us in was really too small for us, but they were very nice about moving us to a larger spot. The WiFi is working very well, something that is important to us. We are not having any problem with the water pressure that had been reported by someone in the past. It is a bit cramped, so if you can get a lakeside spot it will be much nicer, IMO.

Just spent three days here and wish we could of stayed longer! The new owners have fixed the road, added new plumbing for water pressure, updated WiFi speeds, remodeled the store and installed a brand new pool! You can tell they care about customers! We will definitely be back! I would highly recommend enjoying a wonderful weekend at this beautiful location in central Maine!

Very nice lake. Brand new pool. They had lots of things for kids to do. Everything is well kept. I regret not being able to stay longer, but we were just passing through.

Kale and family are doing a amazing job with this campground. New pool, docks and a recently updated wifi system are just a few of the update they have made this year. We have been coming for 10 + years and this year was the best yet.

Affordable beautiful tent sites, amazing new pool, lake for swimming and activI love the campground, the people are terrific, the fishing is amazing, the owners are awesome people and I could never picture myself anywhere else. - Rick Merrill, 5 starsities, and friendly staff and seasonals... what more could you ask for?

Augusta west is an awesome place to camp, very firendly staff and many updates happening in the near future to make the experience even better then before, check it out for yourself
